Atlantik will adopt KSVG to render game boards. KSVG, KDE's implementation of the Scalable Vector Graphics specification, will be included in KDE 3.2, adding support for a growing technology. KSVG has been maturing in the kdenonbeta development module for a long while and the enthusiasm of the developers is spreading to other parts of KDE.
Linux Journal announced today the winners of the Ninth Annual Readers' Choice Awards. Although no real surprise, KDE continued its strong series since 1999 and won once again in the category "Favorite Desktop Environment". Thanks to all our users for using and voting for KDE.
In its November 2003 issue, Linux Magazine publishes several KDE related articles of which two are also available online in PDF format.
KDE Traffic #66 Part 2 has now been released on zork.net.

While the KDE project continues to research and develop the ideal desktop environment, now the KDE community and development processes themselves have been studied and researched by at least two different efforts: Christian Reinhardt of University of Innsbruck chose to study KDE for his "Collaborative Knowledge Creation in Virtual Communities of Practice" Master's thesis.

I would like to let you know about a new project which I have started, which is based on an idea by Ante Wessels: a Wiki for KDE. The 'working draft' name for this project is "KDE Community Wiki Site" (KDE CWS) and you can find the site which is more than just a Wiki at kde.ground.cz.
